For any existing onsite sewage system or onsite sewage system holding tank regulated under the Ontario Building Code Act, including expansions, modifications or replacements of such systems, where this activity is a significant drinking water threat, or for any new onsite sewage system or onsite sewage system holding tank regulated under the Ontario Building Code Act that is required for a municipal water supply well, where this activity would be a significant drinking water threat, the County shall implement an onsite sewage system maintenance inspection program, as required by the Ontario Building Code Act, to ensure these activities cease to be or never become significant drinking water threats.

OC-CW-1.8: The County shall provide a report to the Source Protection Authority, by February 1st of each year, summarizing the actions taken by the County to implement the Source Protection Plan Policies, where specifically required by the policies and not forming part of the report from the Risk Management Official required under OC-CW-1.10. Where the County is required to implement education and outreach programs as the primary means of managing the risk associated with significant drinking water threats, the County shall provide a report to the Source Protection Authority. This report must indicate, at minimum, the properties where these programs were implemented and additional details on how the significant drinking water threat was managed and/or ceased to be significant.
