One had an insignificant amount of overlap with WHPA A (property boundaries barely touching) so no action taken. One had conditions placed on approval, where the conditions were: no establishment of an ASM storage, OCA/yard without Director notification and approval

4 Nutrient Management Strategies were submitted in the Grand River Source Protection Area in significant drinking water threat areas in 2022. For 2 - conditions were added to the prescribed instrument to manage the activities they regulate such that those activities cease to be or never become a significant drinking water threat. Policy Text:

For existing and future outdoor confinement areas or farm animal yards phased in under the Nutrient Management Act located within a vulnerable area where these activities are or would be a significant drinking water threat, the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs shall ensure all Nutrient Management Strategies completed under the Nutrient Management Act include terms and conditions that, when implemented, the activity ceases to be and/ or never becomes a significant drinking water threat.

Monitoring Text:

(HR-CW-1.11): Where the Source Protection Plan policies require a provincial ministry to amend a Prescribed Instrument or issue a new Prescribed Instrument, the applicable Ministry shall provide a summary of the actions taken including documenting the number and locations where such instruments were reviewed and/or amended and any actions taken and/or terms and conditions imposed. The applicable ministry shall provide a written report summarizing this information to the Source Protection Authority by February 1st of each year.
