There are no farm settings within IPZ-1-v.10. Threat verification for remaining agricultural properties is in progress, including for areas annexed to the City of Brantford from the County of Brant as part of a boundary expansion in 2017. Once threats have been verified RMPs will be negotiated as required.

Policy Text:
To ensure any existing or future application of Agricultural Source Material (ASM) to land, on farms not phased-in under the Nutrient Management Act where such an activity is or would be a significant drinking water threat, ceases to be and/or never becomes a significant drinking water threat, this activity is designated for the purpose of Section 58, of the Clean Water Act, 2006 and a Risk Management Plan shall be required.
As a minimum, this Risk Management Plan shall be based upon the regulatory requirements of a Nutrient Management Plan and/or Strategy under the Nutrient Management Act and scoped to address these specific threats.
Monitoring Text:
CB-CW-1.8: The Risk Management Official shall provide a report to the Source Protection Authority, by February 1st of each year, summarizing the actions taken by the Risk Management Official to implement the Source Protection Plan policies, in accordance with the Clean Water Act, 2006 and associated regulations.
