In 2023 threat verifications found no Risk Management Plans were required to manage this threat. We are in the process of ongoing verification of the pesticide application threat. In total, out of the 182 initial threats, we still have approximately 47 properties to catalogue for threat verification. 99 of the initial A threats are residential properties

Policy Text:
To ensure any existing or future application of pesticides, on non-residential properties, where such an activity is or would be a significant drinking water threat, ceases to be and or never becomes a significant drinking water threat, this activity is designated for the purposes of Section 58 of the Clean Water Act, 2006 and a Risk Management Plan shall be required.
Monitoring Text:
CB-CW-1.8: The Risk Management Official shall provide a report to the Source Protection Authority, by February 1st of each year, summarizing the actions taken by the Risk Management Official to implement the Source Protection Plan policies, in accordance with the Clean Water Act, 2006 and associated regulations.
