County Building Division staff completed all inspections in 2019. It was determined after inspections were completed that a location that was originally thought to be connected to municipal sewer infrastructure does have an onsite sewage system that is required to be inspected. This system will be included in the next round of inspections scheduled for 2024.

Policy Text:

To ensure any existing or new onsite sewage system with a design flow of less than or equal to 10,000 Litres per day and regulated under the Ontario Building Code Act or the Ontario Water Resources Act ceases to be or never becomes a significant drinking water threat, where such an activity is, or would be, a significant drinking water threat, the County of Dufferin shall implement an on-site sewage system maintenance inspection program. Inspections should be prioritized based on the proximity to the drinking water supply.

DC-GV-CW-1.8: The Town shall provide a report to the Source Protection Authority, by February 1st of each year, summarizing the actions taken to implement the Source
Protection Plan Policies.
