The City of Timmins is required to ensure that the Official Plan and Zoning By-laws are updated no later than at the time of the review required under Section 26 of the Planning Act.

Monitoring Policy for the Implementation of the Official Plan and Zoning By-law Conformity Policy: P-2000-062012-M:

The City of Timmins shall provide a report to the Mattagami Region Source Protection Authority the same year that the Official Plan and Zoning By-laws are updated. The City of Timmins will implement this policy when the Source Protection Plan takes effect.
