The City of Timmins shall:

- implement Best Management Practices to manage the amount of road salt applied in Intake Protection Zone 1;
- prepare and implement an updated salt management plan, which will include a spill response component.

The City of Timmins is responsible for implementing this policy within two years of when the Source Protection Plan takes effect.

The City of Timmins shall:
• provide an annual report to the Mattagami Region Source Protection Authority regarding
the implementation of best management practices;
• provide an annual report to the Mattagami Region Source Protection Authority regarding
the implementation of the updated salt management plan.
The City of Timmins is responsible for implementing this policy by the first day of February of
the year following the implementation of the application of road salt existing policy P12-0092-
012512–E.
