To ensure any existing or new discharge of stormwater from a stormwater management facility ceases to be or never becomes a significant drinking water threat, where this activity is, or would be, a significant drinking water threat, the Ministry of the Environment shall prohibit this activity within the Environmental Compliance Approvals process.

(GC-S-CW-1.11) Where the Source Protection Plan policies require a provincial ministry to deny an activity with a Prescribed Instrument, the applicable Ministry shall summarize the actions taken the previous year to implement the policies and provide a written report summarizing this information to the Source Protection Authority by February 1st of each year.
