To ensure that any Existing or Future application of agricultural source material (ASM) to land on farms not phased-in under the Nutrient Management Act, 2002 ceases to be, or never becomes, a significant drinking water threat, where this activity is, or would be, a significant drinking water threat, this activity is designated for the purpose of Section 58, of the Clean Water Act, 2006 and a Risk Management Plan shall be required.

As a minimum, this Risk Management Plan shall be based upon the regulatory requirements of a Nutrient Management Plan and/or Strategy under the Nutrient Management Act, 2002 and scoped to address these specific threats.

CB-CW-1.8: The Risk Management Official shall provide a report to the Source Protection Authority, by February 1st of each year, summarizing the actions taken by the Risk Management Official to implement the Source Protection Plan policies, in accordance with the Clean Water Act, 2006 and associated regulations.
