To ensure that any Existing waste disposal sites within the meaning of Part V of the Environmental Protection Act, 1990 subject to an Environmental Compliance Approval cease to be significant drinking water threats, where these activities are significant drinking water threats, the Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks shall review and, where necessary, amend Environmental Compliance Approvals to incorporate appropriate terms and conditions.

Such terms and conditions should ensure the proponent maintains records on site and/or makes them available upon request.

(CB-CW-1.9): Where the Source Protection Plan policies may result in amendments to Prescribed Instruments or the issuance of a new Prescribed Instrument, the applicable ministry shall provide a summary of any actions taken. The applicable ministry shall provide a written report summarizing this information to the Source Protection Authority by February 1st of each year.
