To ensure that any Future onsite sewage works regulated under the Ontario Building Code Act, 1992 never become significant drinking water threats, where these activities would be significant drinking water threats, the City of Hamilton shall require through amendments to Planning Act, 1990 tools that future lot sizes be sufficient to accommodate the systems. Where possible, the municipal planning authority shall require the applicants to locate the onsite sewage systems outside of a vulnerable area.

CH-CW-1.5: Where the City of Hamilton is required to amend their Official Plan and/or Zoning By-law to bring their planning documents into conformity with the Source Protection Plan, the City of Hamilton shall provide proof of compliance to the Source Protection Authority and shall provide a copy of such compliance within 30 days of final adoption of the amendment(s).
