To ensure that any Future onsite sewage works regulated under the Ontario Water Resources Act, 1990 never become significant drinking water threats, where these activities would be significant drinking water threats, the City of Hamilton, in consideration of site plan approval for properties located partially within vulnerable areas, shall require the applicants to locate the onsite sewage systems outside of vulnerable areas.

CH-CW-1.5: Where the City of Hamilton is required to amend their Official Plan and/or Zoning By-law to bring their planning documents into conformity with the Source Protection Plan, the City of Hamilton shall provide proof of compliance to the Source Protection Authority and shall provide a copy of such compliance within 30 days of final adoption of the amendment(s).
