To ensure that any Future waste disposal sites within the meaning of Part V of the Environmental Protection Act, 1990 never become significant drinking water threats, where these activities would be significant drinking water threats, the City of Hamilton shall prohibit the establishment of waste disposal sites and the specific land uses through amendments to Planning Act, 1990 tools.

CH-CW-1.5: Where the City of Hamilton is required to amend their Official Plan and/or Zoning By-law to bring their planning documents into conformity with the Source Protection Plan, the City of Hamilton shall provide proof of compliance to the Source Protection Authority and shall provide a copy of such compliance within 30 days of final adoption of the amendment(s).
