To ensure that any Existing or Future use of land as an outdoor confinement area or farm-animal yard subject to a Nutrient Management Strategy under the Nutrient Management Act, 2002 ceases to be, or never becomes, a significant drinking water threat, where this activity is, or would be, a significant drinking water threat, the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Agribusiness shall prepare or review and, where necessary, amend Nutrient Management Strategies to incorporate appropriate terms and conditions.

(CH-CW-1.7) Where the Source Protection Plan policies require a provincial ministry to amend a Prescribed Instrument or issue a new Prescribed Instrument, the applicable Ministry shall provide a summary of any actions taken and/or conditions imposed. The applicable ministry shall provide a written report summarizing this information to the Source Protection Authority by February 1st of each year.
