To ensure that any Future handling and storage of road salt never becomes a significant drinking water threat, where this activity would be a significant drinking water threat, the City of Hamilton shall prohibit through Planning Act, 1990 tools salt storage and handling facilities.

CH-CW-1.5: Where the City of Hamilton is required to amend their Official Plan and/or Zoning By-law to bring their planning documents into conformity with the Source Protection Plan, the City of Hamilton shall provide proof of compliance to the Source Protection Authority and shall provide a copy of such compliance within 30 days of final adoption of the amendment(s).
