To ensure that any Future application or handling and storage of pesticide never become significant drinking water threats, where these activities would be significant drinking water threats, the City of Hamilton, in collaboration with the Conservation Authority is requested to undertake an education and outreach program on pesticide use and storage methods and their potential impacts on drinking water sources.

The program should consider including wellhead protection area mapping and target pesticide applicators, exterminators and farmers.
