To ensure that any Existing or Future handling and storage of road salt exposed to precipitation or runoff ceases to be, or never becomes, a significant drinking water threat, where this activity is, or would be, a significant drinking water threat, this activity shall be designated for the purpose of Section 57 of the Clean Water Act, 2006 and shall be prohibited, where any of the following apply:

a. in a WHPA or IPZ in quantities greater than 20 kilograms

b. in a Sodium WHPA-ICA or Chloride WHPA-ICA in any quantity.
